My name is Doreen Patrick, virtual assistant and owner and founder of Virtual Business Partners (VBP). In business since early 2006, (and over 40+ years of combined experience among our team members) we are a virtual office based company that provides superior sales, marketing and administrative support to businesses and individuals seeking to minimize time spent on these tasks. Did we tell you what we won’t do for you? Yes, you heard that right, here is a sampling of of what we won’t do for you:
- We don’t believe in nickel and diming our clients. If we work on a project that takes 27 minutes to complete, then we bill for 27 minutes. No rounding up of time, ever.
- There are no “start up fees” or “monthly maintenance costs” when you work with us. If you need us for 2 hours a month and then ramp to 10 hours a month, we can accommodate your schedule. We plan our projects far enough in advance to be sure we are there when you need us. We can work with you on a retained or hourly basis. The choice is yours!
- If we engage in a calling project for you, you won’t receive our phone bill or have to pay commission etc. We charge one flat hourly rate. Simple and efficient.
- We won’t pass on overhead expenses to you. As a business owner, we absorb those costs.

What about temporary staffing agencies, shouldn’t I consider those?
Absolutely. But consider that most agencies incur expenses such as providing training, recruiter salaries, equipment, and benefits to their employees. A percentage of those expenses are passed on to you. Because we work remotely and are not a traditional staffing agency, we DO NOT charge you for those types of expenses.
